I'm Back on line.

Yesterday my computer screen went dead and couldn't see to get on line. It seams I have fixed it and I hope it stays working now.

I had a chance to go to the mall Sunday afternoon. Pictures are not great because everyone is afraid to slow down or stop so I can get pictures. They keep telling me it's too dangerous. Whatever! The people seam friendly to me. Well on with the show of the mall.

First I have to show you this sunset. The picture doesn't do it justice. It was absolutely gorgeous.

For those that couldn't see the boy on the dump pile that was smoldering, here is a zoom in shot.

On the main road in we pass through a village. This is a picture of a typical family home there. All the houses are on stilts. Some are smaller then this one and some look like shacks with make-shift walls.

Made it to the mall. This is the entrance. When you enter there is a guard at the door and you have to pass through a metal detector. The guard waves you through even through the detector goes off. I never saw him stop anyone going through.

This is inside the mall. It's two stories full of shops and kiosk's. Attached to the mall is a large store that looks like a Walmart. It has a variety of item from furniture to food.

Our first stop was here. We were thirsty so went in for a beer.

This is Dan. He's from Bend Oregon. Dan runs the crews on the job sites. He's been with Pacific Rim Constructors for over 5 years now.

Well it's getting late and time for bed. I'll work on part 2 of the mall tomorrow if my computer doesn't fail again.
